Letters of Inquiry
ISNW - MTT reviews proposals from self nominations. To apply for a grant from the Trust applicants must complete an application specific to one of the Charitable Giving Areas - (one of the 3 online). Applications must include the following information:
Organization or Individual's Contact Information (depending on type of application)- Name of organization, address, website.
- Contact person: Name, title, phone number, email address.
- Organization's mission and ongoing programs.
- Inspiration for the project that is the subject of this request.
- Description of the project and the need it serves.
- Leadership and staffing.
- Describe how the project is aligned with the ISNW Foundation's mission.
- Copy of page one of the IRS 501(c)(3) tax-exempt letter for the organization or the project's fiscal sponsor.
- List of current year's committed and pending requests for funding for this project. (List all government, corporate, and foundation requests that you have applied for or will be applying for, including the amount requested.)
- 2 letter of reference.
- Background information on you.
- Proof of enrollment in an Islamic studies program or proof of acceptance (scholarships).
- Proof of severity of health issue from physician or hospital or health care institution.
After careful review, nonprofit organizations or individual's requests that align closely with ISNW- MTT's mission and meet the evaluation criteria will be contacted requesting more information if needed or the award will given.
Staff endeavors to send an initial response to all submissions within 6 weeks. If you have not received a response by that time, please contact us.
